Hello world of the blog. I never realized there was a whole universe and industry of blogs out there until I started entering giveaways. After getting injured 2 years ago and not being able to work, I've found myself with a lot of free time and a feeling of being a burden on my family. When I started entering sweepstakes and winning, I found away I could contribute.
Winning prizes makes me feel like winning the lottery on top of the fact that I end up with random prizes that are usually good for different members of my family. I received a gift card to Banana Republic the same week my brother needed an outfit for a job interview. I won some makeup right before my friend's birthday. A GPS unit for my parents.... So not only is it a high like playing the lottery without having to spend the money for a ticket, but I feel like I'm able to contribute to my family in a tangible way. Plus, what else am I going to be doing with hours on end?
So this is my start at a blog but I will see what the future holds for future content. I may expand it to become what I so admire in other women.... A place to make winners!
